Week 6 Video Reviews
By now, MTV has been around for a few years. Michael Jackson has made his mark with "Thriller" and Madonna with "Like a Virgin". The videos are becoming more sophisticated and the musicians are learning how to use them to their advantage when forming an image. The videos have added touches of surrealism and comedy and are continuing to evolve.
The videos I selected to review this week include "You Can Call Me Al", by Paul Simon, "Every Breath You Take" by The Police, "Hip to Be Square" by Huey Lewis and the News, "Rockit" by Herbie Hancock, and "Addicted to Love" by Robert Palmer.
