Narrative of Video:
The beginning of the video shows an empty country road and a person dressed all in black is walking across it.. The camera flashes to two images that I couldn't make out and then focuses close up on O'Connor. The background is black and she is wearing black so her face stands out a lot. The scene flashes to a statue and then back to O'Connor. An image of a forest is seen and then the video returns to O'Connor's face. The video changes and O'Connor is walking along a stone walkway. There are several images of statues that are shown as she walks. She walks across an open area and then down some steps. The camera returns to the close up of her face. She shows sad or angry emotions as she sings. The scene changes again and the camera moves in on a statue. The video returns to O'Connor's face where it stays until the video ends.
How the Music and Video Relate:
The video relates well to the song. The video is very somber and so are the words to the song.
Review:
The video is very simple in nature but it matches well to the simplicity of the song. The lyrics of the song are sad and the video helps to reinforce this feeling.
