Narrative of Video:
The video begins with a short series of camera shots on different band member's faces, feet, and hands. The camera moves out so the who band is visible and then this mage is split into 12 squares, and stays this way. The heads of the Pixies are in the four upper squares, their hands and instruments are in the four middle ones and their feet are in the four squares at the bottom. The size of their heads in comparison to their arms and feet make them appear to look like midgets. The lighting changes throughout the video. One moment it is on and the next it is off. The band is quite animated, moving in time to the music with their upper bodies. Right before the video ends, the camera moves in for a sudden close-up. All of the squares become larger. Then the scene changes to complete darkness.
How the Music and Video Relate:
The video goes well with the music. The movement of the band and the lighting suddenly going off and on goes very well with this fast paced song.
Review:
This is a very inventive video. The way the camera frames are split up, the sudden changes in lighting and energetic music makes this a really great video
